As part of its Women’s Health Initiative, the Allegany County Department of Health will be hosting a free Healthy Food and Cooking Preparation Demonstration Feb. 26 on Alfred State College’s Wellsville campus.
The demonstration will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. at The Rig in the Culinary Arts Building. According to an article by The Spectator, participants will learn how to prepare a healthy, delicious meal for themselves and their family with all the cooking materials and food provided at no extra cost. Culinary Arts instructors and students will be teaching the course, which is open to Allegany County women aged 18 and over.
