Alfred State Leadership Program

We value student leadership development at Alfred State. Co-curricular leadership development is built around the five spheres of wellness which include:

  1. Career well-being
  2. Social well-being
  3. Financial well-being
  4. Physical well-being
  5. Community well-being

Students who participate in this program may attend workshops and other events allowing them to learn more about maintaining wellness in these five categories. Here are some specific ways to engage:

Leadership Series- regular workshops on specific leadership topics are presented by employers, alumni, and faculty/staff.

National Society of Leadership and Successjoin our chapter of the nation's largest leadership honor society where top students come together to achieve their goals.

Regional Student Leadership Conferences- attend or present at conferences sponsored through the WNY Student Leadership and Engagement Consortium.

SUNY Student Leadership Academy- engage in virtual and in-person opportunities alongside other SUNY students through this prestigious academy.

Leadership Suites- club/organization-level opportunities to highlight your civic leadership and grow as an organization.
