The Pioneer Student Union (PSU), located on the Wellsville School of Applied Technology campus, provides opportunities for a multitude of services and activities. In terms of activities, students have access to a full gymnasium with a basketball court and a racquetball court. The 2nd floor of the PSU contains amenities that allow students to decompress during their day, including ping-pong tables, billiard tables, shuffleboard, and lounge space. In addition to activity offerings, the PSU also provides health and wellness opportunities to students. The PSU houses a space dedicated to physical fitness, complete with free weights and various equipment. The Mind Spa is also located on the 2nd floor and is host to multiple massage chairs in a space dedicated to stress reduction.
In addition to the amenities provided at the PSU, there is professional staff available daily. The Health and Wellness office is located on the first floor and is staffed by a nurse daily and a nurse practitioner two days a week. Students are able to make appointments to receive screenings, assessments, and over-the-counter medications. The PSU is also home to the Coordinator of Student Affairs, a direct resource to students that can also provide linkage and referral when students may be in need of counseling or crisis intervention services.
